Create org charts from
UKG Pro, UKG Ready, or UKG Pro Workforce Management
Follow these steps to integrate orginio with UKG Ready, UKG Pro, or UKG Pro Workforce Management.
Step 1
If you do not already have an orginio account, you need to set one up by registering here.
Step 2
After logging in for the first time, orginio will ask you to choose the basis for your organizational chart.
Choose between a plain orginio (to start from scratch or use an Excel/CSV file), orginio with demo data (to get an idea what an org chart with orginio could look like), and one of our partner integrations (to connect your orginio directly with your system of record).
Select the UKG solution that you are using.
Step 3 – UKG Pro
The next window will give you detailed instructions on what you need to do to connect orginio to UKG Pro.
Follow these steps and click “ACCEPT” in the upper right corner.
After you have completed these steps, you need to define the data scope that is to be imported:
- Choose if also persons with a status other than “active” should be imported to orginio.
- Select the company from which data is to be imported. Note: You can also select “All”.
- Map the fields from UKG Pro to orginio to correctly import your data.
- Click “START IMPORT” in the upper right corner.
That’s it!
Your org chart will automatically be created from the data you have stored in UKG Pro.
Step 3 – UKG Ready
The next window will give you detailed instructions on what you need to do to connect orginio to UKG Ready.
This also requires you to create a service account in UKG Ready. For more explanation on how to do so, click here.
After you have completed the steps, click “ACCEPT” in the upper right corner.
Next, you need to define the data scope that is to be imported from UKG Ready.
- Select if you also want to import persons with a status other than “active”.
- Choose the Manager information in UKG Ready that is to be transferred to your org chart in orginio.
- Map the fields from UKG Ready to orginio to correctly import your data.
- Click “START IMPORT” in the upper right corner.
That’s it!
Your org chart will automatically be created from the data you have stored in UKG Ready.
Step 3 – UKG Pro Workforce Management
Choose the structure type that best reflects your organization.
Note: You can change the structure type only after deleting all data and restoring your orginio.
The next window will give you detailed instructions on what you need to do to connect orginio to UKG Pro Workforce Management.
Follow these steps and click “ACCEPT” in the upper right corner.
After you have completed these steps, you need to define the data scope that is to be imported:
- Choose if also persons with a status other than “active” should be imported to orginio.
- Define if you want to use Hyperfinds
- Map the fields from UKG Pro Workforce Management to orginio to correctly import your data.
- Click “START IMPORT” in the upper right corner.
That’s it!
Your org chart will automatically be created from the data you have stored in UKG Pro Workforce Management.
Not only does orginio eliminate the tedious task of keeping up with all the changes to the organizational structure, it also offers a smart search functionality which lets you quickly find information. This can simply be contact information such as an email address but also any other type of data stored in UKG Ready or Pro that you have imported.
Especially valuable is orginio’s feature for the modeling of what-if scenarios. Create multiple simulations based on data from UKG Pro or UKG Ready to make more informed decisions for the future. The initial org chart or data in UKG Pro or UKG Ready will not be affected by any modeling activity.
